Paint-a-Thon

Volunteers from HPNA will be painting the exterior of a home within the HPNA boundaries as part of the 2014 Paint-a-Thon event, sponsored by Brush-Up Nebraska.

When: Saturday, September 13
Where: near 30th and Gold Streets  (the homeowner is a lifelong resident of the Hanscom Park area)

Paint-a-Thon is an annual event that matches teams of volunteers with elderly or disabled homeowners.  Paint, caulk and other supplies are donated by Brush Up Nebraska.

As in previous years, there were more homes than volunteer teams, so HPNA stepped in to paint the home on Gold Street.   More than 80 homes will be painted this year through the Paint-a-Thon program.
